Presenter Bios
Meet the accounting and tax professionals who lead our seminars and webinars. Our presenters combine practical field experience, current tax-law knowledge, and classroom-tested teaching styles to help CPAs, enrolled agents, and tax professionals choose sessions that fit their needs, review each speaker's current 2026 topics, and apply what they learn in practice.
Current presenters
Each presenter brings a distinct specialty, from IRS procedure and criminal tax defense to retirement planning, tax updates, payroll, estates, and ethics. Together, they provide a broad mix of field experience and instructional depth.
Randy Adams
EA, MSARandy Adams manages two accounting offices near Des Moines, Iowa, and has prepared tax returns since 1992. He holds a master’s degree in accounting and is an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service.
His sessions are grounded in practical preparation experience and years of speaking with fellow tax professionals around the country, making him a strong fit for attendees who want guidance they can apply immediately in daily practice.

Michael DeBlis III
Esq., LLMMichael is a partner at DeBlis Law and focuses on tax compliance and criminal tax defense. He earned his law degree from Western Michigan University School of Law and later completed an LL.M. in taxation from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
His background combines trial work, white-collar defense, and federal tax analysis. He has published in major tax journals and has been featured by national media outlets including NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox, and CNN.

Kristy Maitre
EAKristy brings a unique combination of private-practice work, Iowa State University’s Center for Agricultural Law and Taxation, and 27 years of IRS service. Her IRS experience includes seven years as a Revenue Agent and twelve years as the Iowa tax practitioner go-to person.
She helps practitioners understand IRS systems, reduce client tax liability, and avoid compliance problems through practical, process-oriented instruction.

CPA, QKA, NQPC, AEPMichael is the owner of MIRANDA CPA & Consulting LLC in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and brings 48 years of experience in tax consulting, estate planning, and employee benefit planning. His work spans corporate, individual, estate, gift, and tax accounting, along with qualified and non-qualified plan consulting.
He has presented nationally on tax law, benefits, and estate planning, and previously served for decades in senior leadership at a regional CPA firm after beginning his career with a Big 8 firm.

EAA.J. Reynolds is an Enrolled Agent with more than 30 years of tax experience. His work centers on individual, business, and estate tax preparation, along with IRS audits, appeals, collections, innocent spouse matters, worker classification issues, and civil tax fraud representation.
